Volvo Adventure

The Volvo Adventure was developed and supported by WTA Education Services from 2001-2013 for Volvo as an education and award programme for young people between 13 and 16 years of age. The programme was designed to encourage environmental awareness and activity among our future decision-makers.

Free teacher and group leader resources, produced by WTA, were available to help start or develop projects. The resources offered guidance on how to help young people research, plan, publicise and carry out a project, and how to monitor and report the findings. The project gallery had extensive details of projects going back to 2005.

2011 was the 10-year anniversary of the Volvo Adventure and a special film was made about the Final, which can be viewed on YouTube by clicking here.

Participant Reports were produced each year, summarising the work by the top projects and discussed at the Final in Goteborg, Sweden. Click here to request a PDF of the reports.
